I wouldn't even try to use ME. Format the hard drive and start over. Soem friends of mine that work at Microsoft and have told me on the side that ME was a failure. I mean look at how long the product lasted. Start over with 98, 2000 or XP. Also check to see if you can use the software with a different hardware config. Start swapping hardware if you don't want to reformat. Try your old card in the new machine. Are you haveing trouble with any other software?
I know where I am concerning where I was, things always look better depending on how far you look back.

can you check your memory type
because that board with that nb/sb combination isnt a DDR memory board
its a KT133A board which uses SD ram
It is a two-chip set consisting of the VT8363A North Bridge controller and the VT82C686B South Bridge controller.

also can you go into your bios and tell me what the the cpu temp/system temp is
also check the drivers to find out what AGP mode your in

i was looking at your sys info and it says it cant find a sound card? am i mistaken?

also the video drivers you are using are really old now
                        if your on win 9x/ME
go here to d/l the newest
                        http://www.nvidia.com/view.asp?IO=win9x_41.09
                        if on XP/2k
                        http://www.nvidia.com/view.asp?IO=winxp-2k_41.09

oh also can you tell me what wattage your power supply is rated for?

                            hi wingzero
well powersupply is p IV en pfc.watts total 200w
                            temp cpu 37c/ 98 f
                            system temp 34c/ 93 f
i have a sound card installed sb live and sound works fine.
but i put in only drivers because it had een conflict it couldnt load or install sb emulation??
the was acpi irq holder for pci irq??
and i think its ddr mem thats what they told me ...
where can i find what type off mem it is??
                            kill `m all!!

well its hard to say without looking at the type of memory
this requires you physically take it out of the comp
                              SD has two notchs
                              DDR has one notch
                              on the connectors

but your problem as i see it now
                              is the power supply
200watts is a bit too little for a AMD XP cpu
heck i barely get by with my 300 tho thats cuz i run 3 harddrives and a power hungry video card and 3 case fans
the reason why i say power supply at the moment is because
when your in windows your not putting a great deal of stress on the video card to perform. It requires less power to do things in windows than in games. when your playing games the video card is being stressed and has a high demand for power when it is doing gaming or other types or rendering.
The more stress the card is under the more power it draws to keep itself going
if you can try to see if someone will lend you a stronger psu
and put that in and see if your comp crashes if it doesnt then you found out the problem
if it does there will be more troubleshooting to do

                              about the sound card
what type of sound card do you have or do you hve onboard sound on the motherboard?
