  • Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs now set for Q2 2013

Amnesia developer Frictional Games has updated its status on its horror sequel, Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs, which is now due in Q2 2013.
Being mostly developed by Dear Esther creator thechineseroom, A Machine For Pigs was previously due on Halloween 2012. So why such a long delay? "As their work progressed, the potential for a much greater project emerged. What we ended up with is no longer what we had first imagined, but a fully fledged Amnesia game. A different kind of Amnesia, but definitely not a short experiment."
That being the case, progress is coming along swimmingly and Frictional noted that thechineseroom had submitted its final version of the highly anticipated sequel to the series creator and it just needs a bit more spit and polish before it's up to snuff.
