    The Binding of Isaac developer Edmund McMillen has released eight minutes of co-op footage for the upcoming PlayStation port and enhanced PC edition of his horror comedy action-roguelike.
    Entitled The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, this console port was initially going to be a 16-bit demake of the 2011 cult-classic, but McMillen and the folks at Nicalis ultimately decided to go in a different direction with the visuals and kept adding more and more content to this impending edition, with the addition of co-op being one of its most exciting enhancements.
    An interesting thing about Rebirth's co-op is that players need to sacrifice some life in order to bring a friend into the mix, so it won't simply be an easier version of the game with double the manpower. In some ways the second player has the advantage of being able to fly, but player one is the only one who can pick up and use items and they're in control of which rooms the duo enters.
