  • How to Vote for September 2015's Free PlayStation Plus Game

As recently announced, PlayStation Plus members will soon have the opportunity to vote on which games they want to be released as Plus freebies. The first-ever Vote to Play campaign will kick off later this week, allowing fans to choose one of September's free games.
Voting begins at 8:30 AM PDT on Thursday, August 13. If you're a Plus subscriber, you can cast your vote by accessing Vote to Play from the PlayStation Store's Plus section on PS4, or through the What's New or Notifications areas of the PS4 dashboard. Choices include Armello, Zombie Vikings, or Grow Home (now confirmed to be coming to PS4). These are the same three games listed in the image that initially leaked the existence of Vote to Play.
All three games will be making their debut on PS4 in September. Sony has released brief introduction trailers for each one with their respective developers explaining what their games are all about; you can watch those above and below.
Voting will continue until August 24 at 8:30 AM, with a winner being announced sometime after that. Whichever game wins will be free for Plus members throughout September, who will also be able to get the other two games at a discount.
Sony refers to this as the "first" Vote to Play and says it will offer "more events in the future," so it's likely that you'll get the chance to influence future Plus game lineups again. When that will happen, though, is currently unclear.
August's free Plus games became available last week and include Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris and Stealth Inc. 2.
