  • 12 PlayStation VR Games at E3 2016

In addition to announcing that the PlayStation VR would be releasing on October 13, 2016 for $399, Sony also revealed that there would be over 50 games during its launch time frame. Here are a dozen titles that Sony has showed off at E3 2016 so far.

    Resident Evil 7 Biohazard

Not only was it surprising to see Resident Evil 7 Biohazard at Sony's E3 press conference, but it was even more shocking to hear that it would be a VR title. The trailer is pretty cryptic, but highlights the fact that it's a first-person game; one that's super creepy.

Star Wars Battlefront X-Wing VR Mission

If you've ever wanted to legitimately feel like you are flying an X-Wing, Star Wars Battlefront X-Wing VR Mission might be the game for you. You can watch the trailer here.

    PlayStation VR World

PlayStation VR World is a compilation of VR mini-games made by Sony. The handful of titles within include The London Heist, VR Luge, Into the Deep, and more. You can watch a trailer for it here.

    Final Fantasy XV VR Experience

At Sony's E3 press conference, Square Enix revealed that there would be a VR component to Final Fantasy XV. In the VR segment, it looks like the game will take a first-person perspective, will involve VR teleportation, and first-person shooting. You can watch the trailer here.

    Batman: Arkham VR

During Sony's E3 press conference, a very cryptic trailer for Batman: Arkham VR was shown. In the video, it simply featured VO from the Joker taunting Batman.

    Farpoint

Farpoint is a sci-fi first-person shooter. From what we saw from Sony's E3 press conference trailer, it looks to take place in a sand-dune environment. Oh, did we mention it also features a giant tarantula-like boss?

    100ft Robot Golf

100ft Robot Golf is a game where you control 100-foot tall robots, play golf, and blow stuff up; in other words, the game is pretty wacky. Watch the trailer here.

    Dead Bug Creek

Dead Bug Creek is a first-person adventure games that seems heavily influenced by the art style of Psychonauts. Check out the trailer here.

    Harmonix Music VR

Judging from the trailer, Harmonix Music VR looks like it's going to be a very eclectic rhythm game. It looks like it will take advantage of the PlayStation Move controllers, will allow you to paint (like Google's Tilt Brush for the HTC Vive), and will allow you to import any song in your library.

    Here They Lie

Judging from the trailer, Here They Lie looks to be a horror game shrouded in mystery. The thriller looks to be heavily noir-inspired with its black and white color palette. Like any good horror game, it looks like it also has a healthy dose of insane visuals.

    How We Soar

It's hard to tell what type of game How We Soar is from its trailer, but it does look quite gorgeous as it teases the fact that you'll fly through a fantasy-filled landscape as a bird.

    Tethered

Tethered looks like it's going to be a cute VR strategy game with perhaps a Minecraft twist. During the day, you command little "peeps" to fortify defenses, and at night, you'll have to defend the peeps against monsters.
