  • Tips for making movies ! !

    Hey guys ... and girls ! !

I have thought about this for very long time ... I thought about making some avi/mpg movies out of demo's.... from different people... eventually Coi and BiA and others..

The movie will consist of sick things... sick aiming and other nice/fun things... with music added to

I have seen alot of guys making CS demos to avi... but here is my question ...

Can it be done with RtCW demo's ? I could really use some help to get that question answered

I have experimented with some Screen record.. but that smokes pole bigtime ! ! A converter or some Adboe premiere wold be much more effective .. if it could do it. ! ! ? ?

hey denton you now how to play demos so why not just bind the avi command to a key like :/avidemo
        bind F9 "vstr avidemo"
        set avidemo "vstr action"
set action "s_volume 0; cl_avidemo 24; set avidemo vstr cutt"
set cutt "cl_avidemo 0; s_volume 0.85; set avidemo vstr action"
        ///////
Then download pjBmp2avi chose your screens and add sound track.
        I made a few this weekend :P
mainly me in oltl server with some beastie boys blasting away!
        still looks and sound cool

Btw till your video is turned into divx it is very space demanding like mine took 8-9ghz on my drive! (i got this down to 78mb)

Hey red..... TNX FOR THAT.... could kiss you ! ! !

Just the advised I need to get further ! !

But since my comp is slow... I record my demos in ordinary format... and save them for later.

Then I play the demo.. and use the posted script to get TGA's.. and then that small avi program to make them.

Btw.. what format of music have you added to your clip ?

The avi program only lets you input wav files so i downloaded a converter to convert my mp3s (i think you can cut the wav down with sound forgue)
get the wav program here http://www.mthreedev.com/

                    got another tip for ya!
If you set seta com_hunkMegs "768 "(or to another high meory setting you can use the avi script straight from the game without the need for makin a demo)
Please note this takes as much room if more than the previous mentioned method!
