Nintendo has chosen the US 60Hz version of its classic racer F-Zero for release on the Wii U eShop this week.
It follows fan backlash after the inferior 50Hz version of NES game Balloon Fight was made available in Europe.
PAL 50Hz versions of classic games run slower due to old European TVs having a slower refresh rate, and have compressed graphics and borders.
