  • Madden NFL 15 Out Today, Has "Most Impressive Visuals In Franchise History"

It is now officially Madden Season. Electronic Arts today today released Madden NFL 15 for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4, and reminded players why they should consider picking up the game.
EA Sports says Madden NFL 15 includes numerous and dramatic updates to defense, now allowing players to "own their rival" with a range of new defensive pass rush moves and tackling mechanics. The game also include a "new and improved" playcalling system, and it's a pretty game, too, EA says.
"The game also showcases the most impressive visuals in franchise history," the publisher boasts.
In Madden NFL 15, players can also tap into the wider Madden community when making a playcalling decision. Community-suggested plays will be pulled from actual Madden NFL 15 matchups from around the world, and you can choose to use these if you want.
Madden NFL also boasts new gameday presentation that includes information about your matchup, as well as new pregame and halftime shows that feature highlights, commentary, and analysis.
"Madden NFL 15 has taken a huge leap forward in so many areas, including the visuals, new presentation, and defensive gameplay," EA Sports vice president Cam Weber said in a statement. "But what I'm most pleased with is how the whole package hangs together as a cohesive, high quality experience. I think people are going to love it."
Not only did EA Sports release Madden NFL 15 today for consoles, but the company also launched Madden Mobile today as a free app for iOS and Android devices. The game lets you build a team and go head-to-head with other players.
Check back later this week for GameSpot's review of Madden NFL 15. EA Sports just recently announced the player and team rankings for Madden NFL 15, and you can read all about those in this post.
