Journey developer thatgamecompany will be branching out of Sony platforms for its next, unannounced game."I think to have a financial success, that is going to change everyone, it has to be much bigger than a game on the PlayStation platform," thatgamecompany founder Jenova Chen told Polygon following his DICE presentation wherein he revealed that Journey had bankrupted the company at one point.
While the critically-lauded game went on to find commercial success - becoming the most downloaded PSN game last March, then again at the end of the year in December - it wasn't enough for Chen who sought to change the industry so that it would be a viable market for young people wanting to make "more artistic games" or "high quality, emotional games."
