Spaceship MMO Eve Online is more popular than ever; for the first time in its nearly 10-year existence, the game has boosted past 500,000 paying subscribers. Yes Eve Online continues to be a law unto itself."A lot of games as they enter their 10th year, if they are still alive, are living with a community of huddled survivors clinging to servers hoping the game doesn't get turned off," CCP chief marketing officer David Reid told me in an interview yesterday afternoon.
