Escape Goat 2, the sequel to the XBLIG and PC puzzle/platformer Escape Goat, has been granted a release on 10th September, developer Ian Stocker has revealed on Twitter.It can be pre-ordered for PC at Escape Goat 2's official site for 20 per cent off at $7.99 (about £5) before it goes up to $9.99 (about £6.50) upon release.
Where the first Escape Goat was a series of single-screen puzzle and platforming challenges, this spruced up sequel will have a more interconnected "metroidvania" layout with a world map and over 100 rooms to explore. It also contains hand-drawn HD art by TigerStyle's Randy O'Connor, who worked on the gorgeous Waking Mars and Spider: The Secret of Bryce Manor.
