Nintendo names Zelda: The Wind Waker HD release date

GameCube remake The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD will be released in Europe on 4th October, Nintendo has announced in a just-finished presentation.
The company also announced a free Animal Crossing Plaza app for Wii U. It's a New Leaf-themed version of the console's home plaza where players can chat to its anthropomorphic characters and share Miiverse posts. The download is available now.
Nintendo also mentioned an Animal Crossing "Welcome a Friend" promotion for existing New Leaf owners. You can nab a code for a friend to get a free digital version of New Leaf if they register a 3DS XL in the next month.
