The Mortal Kombat series, one of gaming's most well-known franchises, has now sold more than 35 million units since it originally debuted in the early '90s. Publisher Warner Bros. mentioned the lifetime sales figure today in a press release heralding the arrival of Mortal Kombat X, the latest entry in the series.
