Overwatch release date confirmed

UPDATE 07/03/2016 5.10pm: Blizzard has confirmed Overwatch's release date as 24th May for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
Furthermore, there will be an open beta on all three platforms from 5th-9th May. Those who pre-order will gain access on 3rd May.
"In the open beta, players will have an opportunity to play all 21 heroes and experience the intense action, tactical depth, and vibrant world of Overwatch prior to the game's release," the publisher said of this impending trial.
