Supergirl and Arrow Team Up in New Image from DC TV Show Crossover
The decision to move Supergirl from CBS to The CW means that the show now shares the same channel as such other DC hits as Arrow, The Flash, and Legends of Tomorrow. A major crossover is planned in the upcoming months, and now Arrow star Stephen Amell has posted a picture of himself and Supergirl actress Melissa Benoist in costume on set. Check it out below:
It is unknown whether this is for an episode of Arrow or Supergirl, but it will presumably be part of the four-episode "crossover event" that CW head Mark Pedowitz spoke about earlier this year.
In addition, a new trailer for Arrow's fifth season has been released. Season 5 will include the show's 100th episode, and is set to mark the return of the villainous Deathstroke. Check the trailer out below:
Earlier this week, EW premiered a new clip from Supergirl, featuring Superman. You can watch that here.
Arrow Season 5 begins on October 5, while Supergirl Season 2 follows on October 10. The Flash Season 3 premieres on October 4, while the second season of Legends of Tomorrow starts on October 13.
