The ridiculously titled Duke Nukem 3D: 20th Anniversary Edition World Tour releases today on PC and console and it's yet another chance for people to either A) experience classic Duke Nukem for the first time, or B) take a trip down memory lane and relive what gaming used to be like in the 90s.I've played Duke Nukem 3D countless times on multiple platforms over the years so what drew me to this release wasn't the nostalgia factor but the fact that Gearbox have added a brand new chapter to the game, called Alien World Order.
It features eight new maps set in various locations around the globe and they were all created by the original designers of Duke Nukem 3D, Allen Blum III and Richard "Levelord" Gray. So you can be sure they'll be packed with hidden areas, Easter eggs and early 90s references that no one under 30 will understand.
