  • Watch Skyrim Remastered Gameplay Footage Here [UPDATE]

[UPDATE X3] Bethesda has now released an official trailer for the Skyrim Special Edition. Check it out:

[UPDATE X2] The stream is now over. You can watch the archive in the video embed below.

[UPDATE] Live With YouTube Gaming's stream is now live. You can watch it here or in the embed below. In addition to a live Skyrim Let's Play, the show will include segments on Nintendo Switch, Red Dead Redemption 2, and Watch Dogs 2.
Original story: More footage of the upcoming The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim remaster, the Special Edition, will be shown during a video broadcast scheduled for later today, October 20.
Live With YouTube Gaming has announced that it will show off the "first live let's play" of the game during the broadcast that will take place tonight at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET. It's not immediately clear what part of the game will be shown, but we'll report back with the footage and more details later.
The Skyrim remaster launches on October 28 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The game recently achieved "gold" status, meaning development on it was completed.
The PC version (see the full system requirements here) supports mods, while the console versions will do so for the first time (yes, including the PS4 version). Keep in mind, the PC version is free for anyone who owns the game and its three DLC packs. You can also buy the DLC packs you're missing at a discount to get your hands on Special Edition.
The Special Edition also features a wide array of visual improvements, including remastered art and effects, volumetric lighting, dynamic depth of field effects, and more. Those playing on PS4 Pro when that system launches next month will be able to play in 4K.
