Hearthstone Card Bug Means Lots of Duplicate Mean Streets of Gadgetzan Cards
Hearthstone's latest expansion, Mean Streets of Gadgetzan, launches today. If you're planning on picking up some card packs--or have already preordered the $50, 50-pack bundle--you may want to hold off before opening them.
As relayed by players on Twitter and Reddit, Gadgetzan card packs seem to contain certain cards at an inordinately high rate. Specifically, players are finding themselves with large numbers of tri-class cards, which are a new type introduced in this expansion. While duplicate cards aren't worthless in Hearthstone, opening a pack to find three or four of the same card isn't what people bargained for--not with 132 new cards to obtain.
We'll report back as Blizzard shares more information, but as noted above, you might be best off leaving your packs unopened for the time being.

Blizzard has acknowledged the problem, saying on Twitter that it's currently looking into it. It hasn't yet said what solution it will offer to those affected by the issue--there have undoubtedly been a lot of players eagerly opening packs today before word began to spread.— Aleksander alvær (@Apemann32) December 1, 2016
