The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth developer teases Wii U release

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth developer Nicalis has posted a video showing six seconds of the game running on Wii U.
This off-screen footage of the Mega Maw loading animation suggests a release is coming on Nintendo's latest console, even though Nicalis nor the original game creator Edmund McMillen - who's helping with this remake - have confirmed this. We've contacted the developer hoping to get confirmation and will let you know what we find out.
Previously, The Binding of Issac was rejected by Nintendo for a 3DS release due to its "questionable religious content." Perhaps the Kyoto-based company has had a change of heart?
