Electronic Arts is adding another free game to EA Access, the company's Xbox One subscription service that gives users free games, early demos, and discounts for a range of titles.
The Vault will be updated December 18 to include EA Sports UFC, the publisher's first title in the series since taking over from the now-defunct THQ in 2012. As with all other titles in The Vault, EA Access members are getting the full version of EA Sports UFC, not just a demo.
EA previously pledged never to remove games from The Vault, meaning the value of EA Access is only going to grow over time.
EA Sports UFC becomes the seventh free game inside The Vault. The others are listed below.
In addition to free games, EA Access members can play upcoming EA games five days before their release and get a 10 percent discount on all EA digital content. The subscription cost is $5/month or $30/year.
Currently, EA Access is available only on Xbox One. Sony initially said EA Access did not offer a strong enough value for PlayStation 4 owners, though the company has since explained that it the service could one day show up on PS4 if certain business requirements are met.
