PS4 20th Anniversary Edition unit No. 00001 sold for Ł85K

Someone has bought the most coveted PlayStation 4 20th Anniversary Edition console for an eye-watering Ł85,000.
In December 2014 Sony sold 12,300 retro-themed PS4 units to coincide with the 20 year anniversary of PlayStation. Over the weekend Sony Japan held a charity auction on the No. 00001 unit. The Wall Street Journal reports it closed with a winning bid of Ą15.135 million - or around Ł85,000.
Sony sold PS4 Anniversary Edition consoles in the UK for Ł399.99.
