Condemned creator considering letting an indie studio make a third outing

First-person horror series Condemned could see a third entry, though it won't be franchise developer Monolith handling it.
The studio's founder and CEO Jace Hall noted on Facebook that he's considering handing the reins off to an indie studio. I mean, why not? According to Hall, it's "just sitting there."
"There have been two game titles released for the franchise, Condemned: Criminal Origins and Condemned: Bloodshot - they both did well, and I am consistently asked when a third game might be created. Since I am focused on other things, and will be for quite some time, this franchise is just sitting there," Hall lamented.
