Mario Kart 8 comparison footage shows off 200cc speed

Nintendo has demonstrated how fast its Mario Kart 8 200cc mode will be via a new slice of comparison footage.
The gameplay video shows off the Piranha Plant Pipeway track at 200cc and at 150cc, the series' previous fastest speed.
Side by side, the footage shows a lap taking just less than a minute on 150cc, but nearer 40 seconds at 200cc.
