The latest game to jump on the survival sim bandwagon is ARK: Survival Evolved. Like most survival games, you start with nothing and must rely on crafting and courage to survive. ARK however, has a novel twist; it's full of dinosaurs. Dinosaurs that you can punch! Oh, and also ride. But mostly, if you're anything like me, you'll probably just be punching them.I sat down with the newly released early access build of the game. Watch this video to see it in action, hear my first impressions and learn exactly where a dinosaurs weak spot is. Hint: it isn't on their heads.
Oh, and apologies in advance for the frame rate and screen tearing - so far ARK isn't very well optimised and this, combined with the server lag, can be a little jarring on the eyes at times. Happy hunting.
