Microsoft's augmented reality headset HoloLens will have a dev kit available during Q1 of next year at the pricey sum of $3000 a pop.
As reported by Ars Technica, the announcement was made at Microsoft's Windows 10 device event today in New York.
These won't simply be available for any aspiring developer, however, as prospective customers will have to apply for them online. Further details on that will be revealed as the product gets closer to launch.
