Next week, Destiny's long-running melee issue gets a fix

Destiny will receive a fresh update next week with fixes for a variety of bugs, including the game's long-running melee issue.
The problem? Punches sometimes fail to register damage, despite the fact you saw them land. It happened rarely, but was still noticable enough to be a problem.
"When a melee attack seems like it connects, but it doesn't do any damage, this is usually a networking problem," sandbox engineer Jon Cable wrote in this week's Destiny blog update.
