The Division will now permanently ban cheaters on a first offense

Ubisoft has shifted its policy towards cheating in The Division and will now issue permanent bans to anyone caught cheating, even if it's a first offense.
Prior to this, the developer only issued 14-day suspensions. But clearly this was not enough as cheating via third-party software is still a major issue.
Last month Ubisoft clamped down on cheating by instigating new measures of detection resulting in action across over 30k accounts with 3800 permanent bans issued.
