Publisher Dark Horse is set to release The Art of Gears of War 4 this year, following the launch of the video game. It features a bunch of concept and production art, in addition to commentary from the development team.
The Art of Gears of War 4 hits stores on December 20 and can be preordered at Amazon and Barnes & Noble. It costs $50 and has 184 pages. No images of the book have been released, but you can check out the cover art below.
This isn't the first time Dark Horse has published a video game art book. It released a Fallout 4 book that features never-before-seen images last year. It also partnered with Naughty Dog to release The Art of Uncharted 4 in May and is set to publish The Art of Metal Gear Solid V in November.
Gears of War 4 itself releases on October 7 for Xbox One and PC. If you buy a digital copy of the game on Xbox One or PC, you get a free digital version of it on the other platform. Additionally, you can get digital copies of all the previous games in the series if you buy Gears of War 4--digitally or at retail--by the end of 2016.
Microsoft announced a Gears of War 4-themed Elite controller at E3 this year. It comes with analog sticks, back paddles, a unique D-pad with weapon icons, and in-game items. It costs $200.
