  • Newegg Expands to Ebay Australia

Technology-focused retailer Newegg has announced its expansion with a store opening on Ebay Australia. The launch comes as part of the retailer's celebrations commemorating its second anniversary of serving Australian customers.

All products on Newegg's Ebay Australia store will ship from within the country. In addition, the Newegg Premier service has been discounted for Australian customers to A$59 (usually A$79). The service offers free domestic shipping within Australia (excluding cross-border deliveries), no re-stocking fees, and 20 percent off select items.
Newegg first launched local order fulfilment in Australia in November 2015. The company is based in North America, and while Aussies have been able to purchase from the North American store, the shipping rates to Australia have meant that most hardware purchases become more expensive than purchasing locally. Australian users now have access to localised customer support, returns, product compatibility, and parts that align with country-specific regulations.
