Top 20 Best-Selling PSN Games for September 2016

Sony has released its monthly list of best-selling PlayStation Store games for September 2016, revealing which digital games sold the best in North America during the month across PS4, PS3, and PS Vita.
Sports games dominated the PS4 chart, with NBA 2K17 coming out on top, followed by FIFA 17, Madden NFL 17, and NHL 17. On PS3, PES 2017 was No. 1, followed by FIFA 17, with The Last of Us, Minecraft, and Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare rounding out the top five.
Switching to PS Vita, Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth led the way, with God Eater 2 Rage Burst, Darkest Dungeon, Sword Art Online - Hollow Fragment, and Assassin's Creed III: Liberation taking the rest of the top spots.
As for the PlayStation Classics category, Rockstar titles sold the best, with GTA: San Andreas coming in at No. 1. Bully was second, followed by The Warriors; Ape Escape 2 and Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga 2 rounded up the top five best-sellers.
In terms of DLC, Destiny's Rise of Iron add-on outsold Call of Duty: Black Ops III's Salvation expansion on PS4, despite launching two weeks after it. Call of Duty: Black Ops II's Nuketown Zombies map was the best-seller on the PS3 add-on chart.
Something that stands out, too, is that No Man's Sky, released in August, fell out of the top 20. It was the No. 1 best-selling PS4 game on the PSN when it launched.
