  • Star Wars Clue: What's Inside the Box

Chances are you've played Clue at some point in your life. The original board game put players in a mansion where a murder took place. You have to figure out which of the other suspects committed the deed, with what weapon, and in what room.
Imagine that type of gameplay with a Star Wars twist. The difference is instead of a murder to solve, you need to sneak onto the Death Star and figure out which planet will be destroyed next. You'll also have to figure out where the plans are hidden and which vehicle you can use to escape.

Before you start playing, you'll have to assemble the Death Star playing board.

Instead of the typical flat board, there's two different levels and different rooms to explore.

The back of the game shows the exterior of the Death Star.

Game pieces show the different planets and vehicles.

To make the gameplay a little easier, there's a checklist you can use to determine what the other players need to figure out.

Cards include planets, vehicles, and different obstacles when exploring the different rooms.

There are six different characters you can play with. The pieces are plastic and contain only one color. More detail would have been nice, but this likely keeps the cost of the game down.
Here's Luke Skywalker with his lightsaber.

Princess Leia is ready with her blaster.

Of course, Han Solo is part of the mission, ready to take on any Imperials.

You can't have Han without Chewbacca.

C-3PO is probably not going to be your first choice.

R2-D2 actually looks like he's ready for a stealth mission when painted blue.

The concept of the game is simple. Having someone determine the planet, room, and vehicle mixes up the gameplay and allows some replay value. The recommended age is 8-99. Make sure you pick up a copy and play with your loved ones before their hundredth birthday.
Star Wars Clue is from Hasbro and is now available for $25.
