Stranger Things Season 2 Brings On Finding Nemo Director For Two Episodes
Andrew Stanton, the Pixar veteran who directed Finding Nemo and Finding Dory, will direct two episodes of Stranger Things for its upcoming second season.
Entertainment Weekly reports that Stanton will direct episodes 5 and 6. Producer Shawn Levy (who himself is directing a pair of episodes) told the site that Stanton reached out to him about getting involved. "Andrew called me out of the blue and said, 'I love it. I would be honored to be part of it,'" Levy said.
Levy, who is also directing the Uncharted movie, will direct episodes 3 and 4. Stranger Things creators Matt and Ross Ruffer will direct episodes 1, 2, and 8, while Electrick Children's Rebecca Thomas will be behind the camera for episode 7. There are going to be nine episodes in all, and we don't know who will direct the last one.
