COD keeps crashing...

Hi Guys


I'm @ a friends house trying to play COD, but every time we hit the driving stage (on the back of the lorry) the pc keeps crashing sayin not enough VDU memory... Any ideas?

System specs...

AMD 2700+
Radeon 9700 pro (with the latest drivers)
Nforce 2 Mobo
512 ram
XP home sp1


This system should be more than ample to run COD



We can get passed this bit, by running the game in safe mode, but i was wondering has anyone else had this problem...

can you tell me what his graphic settings are
need to know them exactly

also what video drivers he is using

Did you install DirectX 9.0b.....And make sure nothing else is running...

catylist 3.7 are the only drivers that work...

i have no problems playing COD with DirectX 9.0b

not tru scott i use 3.9s and its fine for me :P

I'm not sure which drivers he is using, we had the game running full spec...

But it doesn't matter any more, i brought the game home with me again :P
