Greetings Brothers & Sisters and all other Idiot Gamers!

I have booked another 3hr Enemy Territory slot @ www.bygames.com for this coming Sunday, 06 July 2003. The *FUN* kicks off at 19:00 BST. The invite goes out to all [BiA], |AoD|, |BoB|, {oWn}, |ToaK|, DXII & MaW players. In fact, anyone who reads this forum is welcome to participate.

Server details are as follows: -

Server IP Address - 194.117.138.200:27960 (** This is subject to change. I'll advise if it does change **)
Password to join - brothersinarms

- 32 players (Max)
- Team balance OFF (We can sort out teams ourselves)
- No weapon restrictions
- FF is set to OFF
- Campaign based mode, Europe first, then North Africa.

The whole idea behind this is to get as many of us, (well 32 of us anyway!), together and have some *FUN*.

Again, if there are any last minute changes to the server's details, I'll post them in this thread.

I would love to join but I have given up trying to get this darn ET to work.. It keeps saying I need to install DirectX 8.1 to be able to play it.. No one seems to have any idea where to get it.. I can get in just cannot connect to any IP addresses.. Sorry- I would love to come.... =(

It's about time I tried to master ET - but the saying "old dogs and new tricks" comes to mind.
The few ET servers I've tried are slow and laggy, is this one any different? Is the poor performance likely to be due to the server/conenction/ping or my elderly pc?
Anyway, as long as my memory doesn't fail me again, I'll be there.
Will someone remind me on messenger (or HP2!) if I do forget?
