[BiA] are hosting another *FUN* 3hr Enemy Territory slot @ www.bygames.com on Sunday, 13 July 2003.

The invite goes out to all [BiA], |AoD|, |BoB|, {oWn}, |ToaK|, Coi, DXII & MaW players. In fact, anyone who reads this forum is welcome to participate.

- 32 players (Max), so 1st come, 1st served!
- Team balance OFF (We can sort out teams ourselves)
- No weapon restrictions
- FF is set to OFF
- Campaign based mode, Europe first, then North Africa.

Why dont you set "FF on".

FF off is like a noob-game. It dosent matter where you shooting. It supports all who are only able to fire their supportfire.

By the way, last match was very good, i have much of fun.

I'll try to be there too - but I'll have to go about 9pm
I think FF should be on too. It takes a bit of getting used to, but it makes you think more about air strikes, panzer and flamer fire.
Did someone mention a "hunkmegs" setting that might reduce lag?
Please tell me more.

id love to play sunday, but sunday is church day. my girlfriends church has it in the morning and evening so that only leaves afternoon (which is when the match is here) and afternoons on sunday are usually spent eating and stuff with her family. so again, doubtfull that i can participate. there was also a big war about my computer use last night which resulted in her taking my computer and attempting to sale/give it away. so who knows when ill be on. i may end up going MIA over this crap.


anyone know if the hunkmegs is effective in linux?

A big thing that I have learned is that you schedule your time on the computer for playing. Others are usually happy about a schedule that everyone agrees on.

we can vote in the server and deside if we get ff on or off....

Hunkmegs, in the wolf.cfg and wolf_mp.cfg, in main, well i know it in wolf, u should put 1/2 of the total ram u have in your box, also i go and change the FPS setting, maxfps, i go between 43 and 78, in wolf, i guess in ET will be similar...

btw, i have heard that putting more than 256, as hunkmegs, is useless, but not sure cause mine is set in 125...
