Ive got a favour to ask..

I have an old friend who is in the American Military, the army to be exact.. I know he was training with the Rangers at Fort Benning in Georgia, but I lost contact with him a few months ago... I have found out that he has been sent to the east, but thats all I know.
Here, in Australia, they have an email address to send messages to Australian troops over there, but I cant get my hands on any information on how to contact American troops. Ive searched alot of sites but I keep going around in circles

I would really appreciate any help anyone can give me, and any information on if its possible to contact them, send a message.. and if so, how and where?
