            • It's taken a while to get it sorted, but developer GSC Game World has finally managed to fix Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl's wonky A-Life system as part of the post-apocalyptic shooter's latest massive update - meaning players can now expect a bit more life to their wasteland adventure as NPCs live their simulated lives and pursue their own goals. Oh, and official modding tools are here too, but you'll need to clear some considerable space to install them.

                    • Hello and welcome back to our regular feature where we write a little bit about some of the games we've been playing. This week, Bertie delves deep into his uncle's enigmatic mansion; Donlan gets into a fight in a tunnel; and Tom O has the kind of gripping football match Liverpool and Milan would be proud of.

                      • Cast your mind back a year or so ago, and you might remember Helldivers 2 being in a bit of a funny old place. On the one hand, it was a huge critical and commercial success; on the other, it was being review bombed into oblivion thanks to Sony's mandatory PSN nonsense. Eventually, all that hoo-ha died down, but not before developer Arrowhead suggested it might commemorate the whole affair with a review-bomb-inspired cape. Well, praise Democracy, because that day - and that cape - is finally here.

                              • While I'm yet to really appreciate any major benefit of the Nintendo Switch 2's GameChat feature, I'm nevertheless always hardware-curious. I'm a tech nerd; I want to know what companies are shipping and how good it is. With that in mind, let me sound the alarm with a warning: do not buy that cutesy Switch 2 camera shaped like a Piranha Plant.
