The Dune: Awakening community is torn right now. In the Deep Desert, roaming hordes of orniphopters (the Dune equivilent of a plane or helicopter) are dominating the end game and making an already dangerous area even more perilous. The thing is, I don't think this is a bad thing. In fact, I think it's good for the game in the long run.
I really don't think anyone out there does it like Atlus. For better or for worse, really. The studio marches to the beat of its own drum without a hint of self-consciousness, spinning weird tales about Satanic rites, the power of friendship, and the end of the world (localised to the city of Tokyo). Whether you're looking at the parent Shin Megami Tensei series, the spin-off Persona games, or the Metaphor-shaped wunderkind that landed last year, Atlus always lands on its feet.
It's arguably the perfect time for the return of Onimusha. If we're discounting remasters and strange Japan-exclusive spin-offs, it's been almost twenty years since the last entry in the series - and it does feel a lot like that time has seen the ground prepared for the return of Capcom's demon-slaying samurai series.
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, Game Freak's 2022 mainline Pokémon games, had infamously poor visuals. Rudimentary lighting, low-res textures and stiff animation afflicted these open-world efforts, while performance dropped below the 30fps target nearly constantly and image quality also suffered. Technically, they were a failure by any reasonable standard, even on the power-constrained OG Switch console. Now the Switch 2 is here and these games have the potential to run significantly better - but what changes does the free Switch 2 upgrade Nintendo is offering actually deliver? 
Future updates for Dune: Awakening will seemingly include "Hagga-Basin-like maps".
