Director Zach Cregger - known for Barbarian and more recently modern horror fairytale Weapons - has shed more light on his upcoming Resident Evil film, which will begin shooting later this year. Most notably, the director has said the film will be "true to the experience of the games", and "lives" in the world of Resident Evil 2 and 3. That being said, Cregger said his adaptation "adheres more to the tone of 4".

We've all heard the No Man's Sky story by now: controversial launch followed by, as commenters often put it, the greatest redemption arc in the history of gaming. Somewhat remarkably, developer Hello Games' exploratory space sim has now received almost forty major updates since its launch in 2016, all helping No Man's Sky turn its initial "Overwhelmingly Negative" rating into "Very Positive" on Steam. But earlier this week, shortly after the arrival of its Voyagers update, No Man's Sky hit another incredible milestone, reaching its highest Steam player count since its launch nine years ago.

Nintendo has announced another game coming to the mature corner of its Switch Online subscription service. That game is shooter Forsaken 64, which first released on Nintendo 64 all the way back in 1998.
I'm finding it hard to take Lost Soul Aside seriously. There are a few reasons for this, but chief is the protagonist's name is Kaser. It's pronounced like the German word for cheese. And people thought Clive was a bad name?!
