You may have heard tales of the friendliness of Arc Raiders players. How in this high-stakes PvP environment people are coming together and helping each other out rather than shooting each other in the face and / or body. The reason why remains a mystery: why are Arc Raiders players so keen to lend a helping hand, and so frustrated when others decide to shoot them for their own benefit? 
Tomas Sala is a solo developer known for aerial combat game The Falconeer and sea-town building game Bulwark - projects that are large and ambitious undertakings for one person. Using AI to offload some of that creative load could be an attractive proposition for someone like him. But of all the people I've spoken to about AI, Sala has some of the strongest remarks to make against it.

The series ends this week - Wednesday is the big finale - but Dispatch can already be considered a success. It's sold more than 1 million copies and amassed more than 22,000 Overwhelmingly Positive reviews on Steam, which is a response usually reserved for the top-performing games.

Confusing things, video games. I've always thought that Tetris is the ultimate game: the game we'll all still be playing when the sun explodes. And yet, at the same time, I've also thought that there are better puzzle games out there. Well, there's one better puzzle game at least.
Pokémon Pokopia, the Animal Crossing meets Minecraft game with an anthropomorphised Ditto, now has a release date.
