Radiators. Radiators everywhere.
Thermaltake announced the arrival of three cube-shaped cases today, which are notable for having a ridiculous number of fan mounts, given their compact size. The three models are dubbed the Core X1, Core X2, and Core X9 (we're afraid to ask what happened to Cores 3-8), distinguished by their sizing for mini-ITX, micro-ATX and full ATX motherboards, respectively. If the photos and diagrams are true (and someone please pinch us), the little X1 can take a whopping 360mm radiator and has five mounts for fans ranging from 120mm to 200mm. It can also take a full-sized power supply in the lower chamber, where you can also stow a few storage devices. Speaking of which, the drive bays are all fully modular.
On the other end of the product line, the top of the Core X9 can take 480mm radiators placed next to each other, another 480mm radiator on either side (or two 360mm rads on the bottom), and a 360mm rad on the front. Of course, there would be some logistical issues with putting a radiator on every available mount, such as where all those fans would get plugged in, but these Core X seem to have a lot of cooling potential. Did we mention that they all come with a side window, too?
They are scheduled to arrive in stores late January/early February and will be priced at $100, $130, and $170, respectively.
