Hi everyone

This has been playing on my mind…

What is the point of being in a clan if we never get together for frag fests?

Guys I need to play with you all, it’s no good just having a tag attached to the side of your name!

We need to organize weekly events where we all play together, if it’s on a ‘bygames’ server I set up, or just a random server.

Does Sunday’s suit you all?

Please post times that suit you here, it does not matter if it’s in GMT or American time.

Guys I know we are a fun clan, but it’s getting to the point of ridiculous… I think I have played with some of you a couple of times, but yet have been in the clan over a month or so…

Or am I missing the point?

i agree totally but i also have to say there are a few of us (me in general who works 70 -80 hours a week and really dont have alot of time at this point but i think that would be a excellent idea and btw someone pass that damn bluny hey !!!!!!!!!!!

I'm all for it, but like Mike said...I'm fucking busy too, so the weekends are my only hope.

Im a silly little kid, weekends are definately good for me, thou later on in the day works better ( after 8 pm EST) anyway, clans are for gaming not jus talking... im all for it, bertie all the power to you

I'm happy with our occasional games, don't think there's a need for a weekly thing... we always meet up on msn and everytime I get online I check ASE to see who's online and then I go play with them, always aware that others will show up when they have time... or maybe

Let's get something clear here right away, I joined AoD not just for the gaming but also for the comradery. There are occasions where I am on the computer intermittently and this is not conducive to gaming but does allow for chat. I have a lawn to maintain as well as work that I bring home with me. There are simply some evenings where I cannot game. This doesn't mean that I cannot keep in contact with my clan brothers, just that I cannot game.

As for Sundays, Sunday is the only day of the weekend that I have off from work. This means that my Sundays are a valuable commodity that I cannot always devote to gaming. An occasional Sunday fragfest would be nice, but it should be an open ended affair that you can attend if able and play for as long or short a time as you feel like.

On another topic. When a clan brother suggests that we meet in a server and then fails to appear himself, as happened the other day on the Innuendo server, it can cause an undue amount of aggravation.

In summary, I thought AoD was a "Fun Clan." What this means to me is that we play together or chat with one another because we enjoy it not because we have a schedule of events.

SOME people in |AoD| work for a living...I myself am on call 24/7/365...I will NOT stand for rules in my gaming...No clocks are here, so I make my own time tables...

Guys..This is why I started |AoD|...Because I'm damn tired of rules...If you don't agree, then you should find another place with rules...

I don't know what the problem is here, but I myself have no problems playing AND finding fellow clan mates to play with every day..All you gotta do is ask..If we're not busy, we'll play..

Hey guys sorry i havnt been around for a while!!!

work has taken over ..like scott im on call every evening at the moment (7 days) and its been a nightmare tryin to get online cus of time ,family etc.

as for fragfest every week its a good idea but i cant commit 100%....maybe we could compromise and play on a server together once a month or somethin jus set the time and date and with enough notice id commit 100% weekends r best for me after 7.00 GMT if its a saturday night im willin to stay up really late to accomodate our US brothers i know theyve done it for us UK guys.

im still happy being in this clan it suits my lifestyle at the moment ive been playin some desert combat BF1942 its really cool.i know if i was in another serious clan i wouldnt be very popular but with AoD i assume its ok to taste other fruits

p.s while i'm here i'll let you know my situation, well the pc is in a cupboard under the stair's (where i live) so if i'm not on(playing), yeh leave a message, cause a usally float between the living and kitchen (smoke room with cupboard) like all day/night, so sometimes i maybe a while (seeing to the mrs) but i'll get back to you sooner or later :P
