The C6 Corvette,
Ohhhh baby!!! 4t generation Active Handling System, larger brakes new wider wheels, Xenon headlamps, electronic adjustable suspension, a 400+HP engine and possibly a new redesigned 6L engine with 2 cam shafts (one for incoming and outgoing air) with a 400-425HP output and a cylinder deactivation system for improved fuel efficiency similar to that found in Mercedes-Benz V8s and V12s. A voice activated navigation system and assistance from Cadillac On-Star. Analog gauges with a digital displays for a variety of statistics. The C6 will continue to be built on a modified C5 hydro formed structure due to its excellent construction and stiffness.

Why are they using odd rpm pulls to show numbers? Are they just showing peak hp and tq, or does it tucker out of torqe over 4500 rpm. Doesn't a ZR-1 have better numbers than that?

Thats a nice time for a RWD car, doubt they used regular street tires they sell from the factory for that tho, most likely street/strip tires. Like they should have from the factory.

Top speed est / 175-185 mph
I hope to break 200 mph at this years national gathering.

Looks like a vette to me. Nice to know my 10 year old lil v6 3.0L can still hang with the new big boys in town. Impressive looking car, but I believe they still haven't beaten the new Viper SXT.

Don't forget tho, for a NON-Turbo that sick.

Over 200mph OMG, hope you have alot of time to work on it, & money, + if your going for topend speed its going to hurt your 1/4 times, but I really can't see that one, Your car is a 5spd, I know my car will do around 170mph with the 6spd. I'd like to see how your going to get more topend, 6spd Tran's ? or gear's ?...

Yep converting to six speed and a 25 spline set up from my current 18 spline, including transfercase. Hopefully drive to PA to get it before it snows.

I think they are still working out the track fee's. I'm interested in the road coarse and lapping the Indy 500. Since we have norwalk so close I'm not really interested in doing the 1/4 mile runs. I just gotta get some cash together for extra sets of rotor's and brakes since 10 laps = about 1 year worth or driving
