Do you know of the barley wine served at Christmas named (I hope I spell this correctly) Samiclaus Brown?
Never heard of it, but in Sweden we do have a brown coloured, that is served hot it can be with or without alcohol...its called "GLÖGG"
"We happy few, we band of brothers - for he today that sheds his blood with me - shall be my brother"
- William Shakespear, King Henry V
Austria actually...found it on a website.Samiclaus
"Austria
Samiclaus 14.0%
Once brewed by Hurlimann of Zurich, Samiclaus is brewed only one day a year (December 6th - St. Nicholas Day) and then matured for nearly a year. Its high alcohol gives it a full body and malty flavour. Verified by the Guinness Book of Records as the strongest beer in the world. Brewing now transferred to Eggenberger of Austria."
