Hey guys
Just thought i would put this on a new thread... (Car Ice)
As i said before i have...
I have a Rockford + Soundstream amps
Panasonic head unit & cd multi change
Jl audio, Image dyanmics & Infinity beta speakers
It's all set up to a pro-audio setting with active and passive networks
Oh yes and a very good alarm
.................................................. .............
The Rockford runs the front 4 speakers fully active
Image dynamics IDQ5's
(Front mid bass drivers)
20 Watts RMS per channel (4 ohm)
85hz and above with a natural cut off
Infinity Beta 1 Tweeters
(Front tweeters)
20 Watts RMS per channel (4 ohm)
Doh! I can't remember the Frequency's, opps
The soundstream runs the back 2 speakers, (currently I'm using a passive network with it)
JL Audio TR690-TX (6*9)
30 Watts RMS per channel (4 ohm)
53Hz - 17KHz (Using a passive network)
Panasonic Head unit is just used a control hub (don't use the amp in it)
The doors & boot (trunk) are sound proofed using 'Dynamat'
All the cables & Juntion boxes meet the specifications for the IASCA
It's a full stealth install back and front with nothing visible from the outside the car & most of it nealry invisible from the inside as well
All installing work is done by myself apart from...
Car security
Sound levels on the Amps (gains)
.................................................. ............
The system was originally designed to have a sub attached to, running off the rear amp.
Although it's a rather long story as to why i dont currently have an sub now....
Also, i could push the system a lot harder as both amps will run at 2 ohm happly and 1 ohm at a push
+ The output on the head unit
But I'm after Clarity, control and not volume
Ps guys...
I have never competed with it as i think it's a little sad lots of men standing at theirs cars going "My system is louder & better than yours"
