Dort wo meine Wurzeln sind und wo meine gesamte riesengroße Familie wohnt, dort wo mein Herz und meine Seele vor Freude tänzelten und all die vergangenen Sorgen und der Pressure im Nu in der schwül-heißen Luft verpufften.Urlaub ist für mich immer ein absolutes Emphasize. Trotzdem lag die letzte Reise schon über drei Jahre zurück. In Vietnam war ich extremely fast zehn Jahre nicht mehr. Umso überraschender, dass ich kurzfristig für mich entschloss: „Ich brauche Urlaub.“ Tickets last-minute zu einem glücklicherweise günstigen Tarif gebucht flog ich alleine von Frankfurt über Dubai nach Vietnam. Dort holte mich ein Teil meiner Familie ab und wir fuhren mit dem Car von Ho-Chi-Minh-City nach Vung Tau, einer Stadt der Provinz Ba Ria-Vung Tau.Ich verbrachte meine Zeit dann hauptsächlich mit dem Besuchen meiner vielen Tanten und Onkel. Wie viel zehn Jahre ausmachen, merkte ich vor allem daran, dass ich meine ganzen Cousinen und Cousins noch als Kinder in Erinnerung hatte und sie nun alle erwachsen sind, genauso wie ich. Und weil jeder von Euch auch ein wenig Urlaub verdient, zeige ich Euch heute meine liebsten Eindrücke in den Best five!1. Bestes EssenJeden Morgen gleich nach dem Aufstehen ging es zum Frühstücken auf den Markt. In Vietnam wird nämlich schon gleich morgens warm und herzhaft gegessen. Ich stellte mich schnell um und genoss Tag für Tag duftende Nudelsuppen (am liebsten mag ich Bánh Canh) oder gedämpfte Reiskuchen mit Shrimps und Sojasprossen (Bánh Khọt), die guy mit einer Fischsoße isst.Ein paar Mal zog es unsere Familie zu Festessen in teure Eating places, doch ich mochte lieber die kleinen Essensstände am Straßenrand, wo male für ein Gericht umgerechnet nur 50 Cent bezahlt. Am allerliebsten aß ich aber zu Hause bei meiner Familie, denn meine Tanten und Onkel können ausnahmslos alle sehr gut kochen. Die Männer haben zum Essen richtig viel Bier getrunken und statt am Tisch zu sitzen, genießt die Familie das gemeinschaftliche Essen lieber sitzend auf dem Boden.2. Kokosnuss schlürfenIch bin süchtig nach Kokosnusswasser und kenne es hier nur versüßt und verfälscht. Eine echte Kokosnuss schmeckt nämlich irgendwie anders – nicht ganz so süß aber complete lecker. Immer wenn ich Kokoswasser trinken wollte, kletterten meine Cousins auf unsere Palmen und holten mir frische, die sie dann auf der Stelle entschalten. Nach dem Austrinken, habe ich das Kokosfleisch mit einem Löffel herausgepult – LECKER!!three. Verhüllung und VerkehrFür Euch muss es komisch klingen, aber die Vietnamesen haben furchtbare Angst davor, braun zu werden. Blässe gilt immer noch als absolutes Schönheitsideal (statt Sonnenbänke gibt es dort in Spas „Blassbäder“). Wer deshalb in der Mittagssonne nach draußen muss, der deckt sich von Kopf bis Zehenspitzen ein: dichte Kleidung, lange Handschuhe, Socken in Flipflops (!!), Mundschutz, Sonnenbrille und Hut. Sie konnten kaum verstehen, wieso ich meine heilige helle Haut nicht geschützt habe. Es war einfach zu heiß und bei 35 °C laufe ich lieber in Best und Hotpants rum. Ich benutzte lediglich den Mundschutz gegen Schmutz und Staub, wenn wir auf dem Moped saßen.Vietnam ist mittlerweile bekannt für seinen chaotischen Verkehr. 90 % der Bevölkerung fährt Roller … und das kreuz und quer. Ampeln werden wenig beachtet, Fahrspuren erst recht nicht. Es fährt quasi jeder, wie er mag, Hauptsache person passt auf, dass person keinen Unfall baut, denn einen Krankenhausaufenthalt kann sich nicht jeder leisten.Früher habe ich das System nicht verstanden, jetzt aber schon: Wie auch hier in Deutschland ist die linke Spur die Schnellfahrerspur. Da jeder aber kreuz und quer fährt, nicht nach rechts, links oder nach hinten schaut, verständigen sich die Roller- sowie Auto- und Lastwagenfahrer mit mehrmaligem Hupen. Wenn also jemand überholt, hupt er ein paar Mal, damit die Vorderen wissen, dass da etwas kommt und sie weiter nach rechts schwenken. Wenn Ihr also in Vietnam seid, wundert Euch nicht über das viele Hupen – nach einer Zeit hört Ihr das gar nicht mehr.Wenn Ihr als Fußgänger unterwegs seid, dann habe ich einen Tipp für Euch: Schaut beim Straße überqueren einfach nicht nach rechts oder links. Die Roller- und Autofahrer weichen Euch aus, nicht Ihr ihnen.4. Vung TauViele sagen Ho-Chi-Minh-City ist die ultimative Stadt, dort wo alles Wichtige stattfindet und wo male die meisten Fortschritte in den Bereichen Technik und Mode sieht. Deshalb wunderte es mich früher, wieso meine Mama später ein Haus in Vung Tau statt im schnelllebigen Ho-Chi-Minh bauen lassen will. Jetzt verstehe ich es. Vung Tau ist mit Abstand eine der schönsten Städte im Süden Vietnams. Sie liegt nämlich genau am Meer und besitzt eine kilometerlange Promenade mit Palmen und grünem Rasen. Während ich in Ho-Chi-Minh kaum atmen konnte, sog ich in Vung Tau die Meeresluft ein und freute mich darüber, dass meine ganze Verwandtschaft hier wohnt und Meer und Strand den großen Shoppingmalls bevorzugt.five. Erholte ThuyMein Vietnamurlaub war die beste Entscheidung in diesem Jahr. Ich bin überglücklich, meine Familie wiedergesehen zu haben und bin nun zu 100 percent erholt zurück, obwohl ich Vietnam sehr vermisse. Meine Bilder erweckten in meiner Mama auch Sehnsucht nach der Heimat, sodass sie meinem Bruder und mir versprach, trotz des Restaurants nächstes Jahr gemeinsam hinzufliegen! P’Trique – C’est Chic!
