Today i tried getting on HPC and it let me play for a min. then kicked me it said that punkbuster would not allow me on cause i was missing cd key???? i don't know how this could happen because i was playing on there 30 min. prior...Does any1 have any solutions and how to go about fixing it????

I remember that Bertie had that once.

The game does not use a CD Key in the traditional sense. There is no point at which you are required or expected to enter a unique Key for online play.

Should you encounter a CD Key related problem try the following:


Manually issue a key-request via the console.
1) Press the Tilde " ~ " key to open the console.
2) At the prompt type:

\pb_cdkeyreg (press the Enter key)

3) You will see a message stating a request has been made.
4) After a few seconds (up to one minute) you will see a response informing you the request is complete.
5) Close the console by press the Tilde key.

Also check before you go in the game that your cd key is still there...Mulitiplayer / options / enter cd key...Make sure your #`s are still here...

Ahhh fixed much better...still like to know how my key got erased?????
