Today is the one-year anniversary of Nintendo Music, the well-received app for smart devices that gives you access to some of the most notable OSTs from the publisher's history. At launch, the app provided us all with a way to listen to music from the likes of Animal Crossing New Horizons, Wii Channels, Star Fox 64, Metroid, Mario Kart, and more.

Brendan Greene, the creator of battle royale mega-hit PUBG, better known by his alias PlayerUnknown, is about to release a new game. It's called Prologue: Go Wayback! and it's launching in early access on 20th November, and it's the first game by his new studio PlayerUnknown Productions. It's also not the kind of game you're probably expecting it to be.
Turnips! Everywhere! As far as the eye can see! Well, not quite, but The Séance of Blake Manor certainly has a lot of them. This might seem like a strange place to start when talking about developer Spooky Doorway's brilliant new supernatural detective mystery, but it actually says quite a lot about what makes it so good. Here, a fun historical footnote - that jack-o'-lanterns were originally carved from turnips - is turned into a feature, as glowering turnip faces leer from shadowy corners and sit in ghoulish formation along the sweeping climb of an imposing staircase. In the grand scheme of things, a minor detail - but it's also one that lends this spooky deductive yarn an air of historical authenticity that sells its supernatural premise so much harder.
