Late last December, 11 bit Studios, the Polish developer of This War of Mine and the Frostpunk series, announced it had cancelled a long-in-development console-focused game known as Project 8. This had been in development since 2018 and had cost the studio nearly £10m. Until now, though, all we've known about Project 8 was that it was a "narrative-driven, story-rich game" - CEO Przemysław Marszał used those words when referencing the game's genre, which he said held stronger market appeal when it was conceived. And now that I've seen the cancelled game in action, I have a better idea of what he meant.

The RTX 5060 Ti is here, and with it, the first ostensibly "mainstream" graphics card from Nvidia's 50-series Blackwell architecture - though with MSRPs at $379/£349 for the 8GB card and $429/£399 for the otherwise identical 16GB variant, there's still an appreciable gap over the entry-level RTX 5060 at $299.

During Nintendo's dedicated Switch 2 Direct earlier this month, developer CD Projekt Red announced Cyberpunk 2077 would be a console launch title. So, does this mean that Witcher 3 will also be getting a Switch 2 upgrade? Well, CD Projekt is keeping that under wraps for now, as it's "all in on Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition" on Switch 2.

The dragon's roar echoes across the landscape, sending the local deer population running and startling a chicken or two. I caught a glimpse of the dragon soaring through the sky when I first arrived on Ashenfall. I knew it was a threat at the time, like all dragons usually are, but thought it was one I wouldn't have to worry about for a while. The dragon's second visit proved me wrong. Thinking it would be nice to see it again, I looked up. Rather than seeing a scaly beast, though, I found myself drenched in poison. This is how I tasted death for the first time in RuneScape: Dragonwilds - the new survival crafting game from Jagex, which recently saw a surprise Early Access release.
