Again, everyone has comments and opinions.. WHO CARES?? lol.. I am a New Yorker.. In a REALLY nice neighborhood!! I am not poverty and I certainly do not live in a shack.. LOL.. NY, as LA, Paris, Milan, some of the finest places in the world.. If you do not live here, why do you care to comment? I do NOT disrespect the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, etc.. I am not a hateful Person, and I do not feel 4 or 5 ignorant people make me think the whole country sucks.. So, really- opinions are like a$#holes. everyone has one.. LOL..

Oh and one last comment.. If America is so bad, anytime another country is in trouble (i.e., war time, financial crisis, hungar problems, etc) why does other countries call upon America for help?? Do you all realize if America did not help France in WWII, the French would be speaking German right now?? We got called in during Vietnam war to help the S Vietnam people get liberated against N Vietnam.. I can go on and on, but America aids many countries, with the payback of NOTHING!! Do a 'google' on wars and America and let me know how many times we as a Country helped others become free against third world countries that had awful and cruel Dictators.. Why isnt this forum about the game and not 'untrue' statements against my Country.. Get over it- we are the richest, most liberated, and diverse Country in the World.. I am sure a lot will disagree- but I did study WORLD POLITICS in college, and I feel I am fairly educated enough, and old enough to say I know what I am saying.. At 16-20 years old, I did not.. The word opinion is coming back too much I think. We all have them, nothing to do to it. And Melanie, as an 17 year old boy I don't know all the things about the world politics cause I havent studied them. But I know that the USA have helped France in WW2, and I know that USA helped in Vietnam. Well thats cool, its good that they did that. Sometimes, the help of the USA isnt really welcome, as it seems. Many Iraqy citizens are protesting against the American support in their country, and also a lot of American citizens aren't really sure wether the way the American goverment handles is correct or not. I say it again, the help in France and Vietnam and many other 3th world countries is very cool, but sometimes its just........too much or I dont know what......just not as good as it has to be.

Mel, apologies.. Perhaps read what Fraggy has actually said because I wonder if you comprehend or not his post. Essentially, he was apologising for you mistaking his original post, not attacking you. And may I point out that all the positive things you stated America has done, so have other countries. I just dont believe that we should always do things for others expecting something in return, nor do I believe that the doing gives us the right to assert our dominance over the countries who require assistance. Oh, and I might be wrong.. but I think there are more than 4 or 5 of us 'ignorants' out here in the World who agree with what Fraggy is saying.

Remember, just as Americans have the right to disagree and make fun of the UN World Leaders who vetoed the war, so do those of us who stand against the war have the right to disagree with Bush and his fetish for it.

If we return to the actual point of this thread regarding the torture of Iraqi prisoners for a second, then Id just like to add that I find it bemusing that Americans would support such actions, even when their own military has stated it is wrong and the service men who participated will be tried, and punished.

I am just sick and tired of People bashing my Country- When other countries are in trouble- America is the first to send food, Doctor's, money, clothes, etc.. I never said I agree with BUSH, If I did, I would be trying to go and fight in Iraq.. However, the Government is trying to HELP the people of Iraq establish a new and fair Government- And that was asked of us by 85% of the People whom reside there.. THEY do not want American's to leave.. They do not want dictatorship like Saddam.. That was evil and he was a loser.. But their is also Irari's who speak NO english that just SHOOT when they see American's because they were brainwashed by Sadaam.. That was my point but you know what- NONE of us on this forum matter to the Government or to the Iraqi people..
